Eureka Ignite Stove Review

The Eureka brand is not only the most affordable option on our list, but it also has the most features in a compact design. Eureka isn’t a brand that we’d classify as “cheap”, but they have been able to keep costs down by keeping things simple.

The Eureka Ignite is the newest addition to the company’s camp stove line. It features two independently adjustable burners with a combined output of up to 20,000 BTUs. Folding windscreen, but it’s one of the few stoves that have a built-in igniter (feature push-button lighting). We found the igniters were hit or miss for reliability, but if you can get them to work, it’s a nice feature.

They made the Ignite from stainless steel like most other camp stoves and have a metal frame to help keep it stable when cooking. It comes with an integrated storage bag which is great for keeping everything together. It’s also compatible with propane canisters, which can be found just about anywhere.

The stove measures 15 inches by 10 inches when open and has a weight of 10 pounds. Selling within the range of $109 to $141, which puts it squarely in the middle of the price range for two-burner stoves.

Overall, this is one of the best backpacking stoves for those on a budget. With a few minor adjustments, it’ll get the job done for years to come.

Which Is Better, Eureka! Ignite or Eureka! Ignite Plus Propane Camping Stove

The Eureka! Ignite and the Ignite Plus are extremely similar. Both have two burners, both use standard propane canisters, and they make both lightweight aluminum.

Our testers agreed that the extra size of the Ignite Plus was handy because it allowed us to fit an extra pan on the stove for cooking side dishes at the same time. This may be especially important for car camping or family outings. However, in situations where weight and space were a concern, our testers preferred the smaller Ignite model.

We also found that boiling times were significantly faster on the Ignite Plus compared to other models in this review. The combination of the dedicated burner and an added made for quick boil times. However, we felt that this difference was not significant enough to justify carrying around a larger stove or paying as much for a slightly faster boil time.

The Eureka! Ignite Plus is a great stove for the money. It is compact, and easy to use. Its compact design makes it easy to store in small spaces. The Eureka! Ignite Plus is great for those who want a simple-to-use stove without all the bells and whistles of other models. Also, the table below will help in making the best choice.
